Looking to Learn is a series of theme-based booklets that help teachers link the sculptures in the Park with the curriculum.

The Artist in Residence program has had significant success in the past eight years.  Each year, Michigan Legacy Art Park artist, Patricia Innis, has spent time in classrooms at schools such as Traverse City Central Grade School, Frankfort Elementary, Brethren High School, and Mancelona Middle School.  Innis works with teachers to create engaging, hands-on curriculum based art projects.  Through this residency coupled with a fieldtrip to the Art Park, children see their textbooks spring to life.

Summer Sounds are fun outdoor concerts that take place at the Park's natural amphitheatre and feature a variety of musical genres.

The Trail Guide lists each work of art with a short interpretive descriptions.

Coasting the Baseline is a multi-site work that displays the historical significance of Michigan’s surveying methods.
