Michigan Legacy Art Park is located in Benzie County. The beautifully wooded 30-acre Art Park is open year-round from dawn to dusk, and is accessible by foot, cross-country skis and snowshoes. The trail is rustic and has several steep hills; visitors are encouraged to plan appropriately.

Michigan Legacy Art Park is located within the boundaries of Crystal Mountain on M-115 between Cadillac and Benzonia near Thompsonville.

 

When visiting the Michigan Legacy Art Park, please observe the following:

Leave no trace Bring drinking water
No smoking Look out for exposed tree roots
Stay on the marked trails Put garbage in appropriate receptacles
Do not climb on the art Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature
No bicycles Think about what the art means to you
Dogs must be on a leash Wear appropriate footwear for hiking
Report vandalism Trails are not wheelchair accessible
 

In winter:
Do not snowshoe on groomed trails
Be aware of skiers
Skiers have the right-of-way
